We started doing some installs that placed the panels horizontally instead of vertically to the roof! This took a little extra measuring to make sure we put the inverters in the correct spots for all the wires to reach properly.

When we are installing the rails and trunk cable before bringing up the panels themselves, we zip tie the cable tight to the rails and take out as much slack as possible. This is supposed to help keep the wires from wearing against the shingles in the wind.
