Pool myth: “If it smells like chlorine, there’s lots of chlorine.”
That strong smell is often chloramines. It can mean your chlorine is getting used up fast, not that you have “extra”. If your eyes are burning or the water won’t stay crisp, bring in a sample and we’ll tell you the exact next step.

Pool myth we hear at the counter: If the waters clear, its safe to swim.

Clear water is a great start, but it does not always mean your water is balanced. Low sanitizer, high combined chlorine, or out-of-range pH can still cause irritation, algae surprises, and cloudy water later.

If youre not sure what to adjust, bring in a water sample for free testing and well tell you exactly what to do next.
