THE TIME HAS COME.
For over 10 years we have had the pleasure of providing plumbing services to the HRM. When we started we were the only women-owned plumbing company on the east coast of Canada. Over 10 years later, we are still the only ones.
Tammy has been a plumber for over 20 years, and she is ready for a change. Effective October 31, Small Jobs Plumbing will be closing our doors, and soon after, Tammy will start a new career.
We’d like to express our sincere gratitude for over a decade of support. We honestly couldn’t have done it without your support.

PRO TIP: Make sure you disconnect your hose from the outdoor faucet before freezing temperatures start. Water in the hose line can freeze, leading to expansion of pipes, and costly leaks.

It’s hard to believe Small Jobs Plumbing has been providing plumbing services in the HRM for 10 years.
Tammy is still the only female owner of a plumbing company in Nova Scotia.
Here’s hoping we encourage more women to get involved in trades. Skilled trades pay well, and job prospects are far better than average.
Here’s hoping more women create companies of their own. We do have a competitive advantage. Customers are very supportive of women in trades.

10 years ago this month Small Jobs Plumbing became the first women-owned and operated plumbing company in eastern Canada. We are still the only one.
So much has happened in that time. We won The Coast’s Best of Halifax “Best Plumber” category 5 years in a row. We were recognized by the Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s Top Ten Small Businesses, featured in McLean’s Magazine, had a partnership with Majesta Tissues to produce a series of YouTube videos providing simple DIY plumbing projects, and featured by the Province of Nova Scotia in their “Change Maker” series.
While all of this is wonderful, and great encouragement, nothing compares to being able to provide quality work at more affordable prices to our communities.
Like all small businesses, we would have never made it this far without YOU, and we are eternally grateful.
