Well this was a big one! Full kitchen remodel, as well as a few odds and ends.

We took every bit of old cabinet out, and started to see the vision! Everything from the floor, up to the ceiling had to be taken care of somehow.

I really like the tile flooring the customer chose, it gives it a modern feel without being too much.

But once the cabinets started to be put in place, the excitement only grows. It’s amazing what a bit of work and some cabinets can do to a kitchen😁

These cabinets came with a hand pull built into the doors and drawers, so it eliminates the need to handles to be added if you didn’t want to, I thought that was pretty cool.

Once the paint gets on the walls, this room will transform once again. Very exciting to see the final result!

We also tackled a little bit of roofing repair, some bathroom fan ductwork, as well as some door replacements. Plenty of drywall work at this job😅

Super happy with how it turned out, what do you guys think?

Warmer weather is finally here, that means more time outside!

Spent some time to make a picnic table for my kids, I love the colours my wife chose!! She always knows best 😊

Along with the table, I whipped up these raised garden beds just in time for the season. With dimensions of 3’ by 5’, there is plenty of space for planting whatever you may please. And at a little over 17” tall, even kids have the ability to help out! Built with fence boards instead of traditional 2x lumber to keep the weight down. Very rigid and sturdy!

If you’d like either of these, don’t be afraid to send me a message! I do these builds in the evenings/weekends so usually can only complete when the time is available. But I’m still taking orders!

Picnic table Pressure Treated - $175
Picnic table Painted/Stained - $200-$250

Dimensions- 42” long, 20” tall, and 36” wide (these can be changed slightly if needed)

Raised Garden Boxes - $150

Dimensions- 3’x5’x17”

All ready for gardening season!!

When it’s time for a new fence to keep the animals out of your garden, you might as well make it nice to look at!

With 48” fencing all the way around, with a gate and an “arbor” to match the existing deck.

Should be standing for many many years to come, with plenty of harvests ahead!

I will never get tired of the brown treated wood I don’t think, it just always looks so sharp 😁

Complete!!

2 window replacements, a patio door replaced, and the kitchen extended to match😁

The customer chose the perfect windows for this project! I find they match into the home like they've always been there.

After replacing the larger 3 pane window, I noticed how loose their siding was above going towards the peak. I offered to tear it off and redo the nailing, as it has been blown off in the past! Now they have peace of mind knowing it won't be able to go anywhere now.

The kitchen was my favourite part, built up a cabinet to maximize the space we had, as well as hand making the doors myself! The red oak used for the doors and face frame created a lot of extra painting for myself 😅 I didn't do
enough coats of primer, so l ended up repainting them to get that brown oak colour from bleeding through. What a challenge that was, lots of learning though!

I also closed in the dishwasher as well, once I find a picture I'll be sure to post that! Can never keep track of all of the photos 😂

Thanks Agnes and John for all the help, and pictures as well!

Just finished up this corner fireplace. Mounted the tv, with a weathered mantle and a smooth bench for the bottom.

Just in time for the walls to be painted.

I also do some rough work as well!

Some much needed shelving in this garage, installed wherever we could.

Even had a chance to build a cart for all of the hard to store items like rakes and shovels!

This was a last minute job, and it was a fun one!

The costumer ordered a new fridge, and finally landed with one after switching it out with a scratched one, so the new fridge ended up being a bit taller than expected.

So I had to trim the cabinet a bit and rework the panelling to make something that works.

I think it tuned out pretty good for how old the cabinets are, and the yellowing that comes with age. Not a perfect match by any means, quite tricky achieve that!

Sometimes a little change makes a big difference!

Swapped out the laminate countertop on this island for a solid wood butcher block top, finished with a durable polyurethane for complete protection. A high traffic area needs extra protection!

Also added some wainscoting on the sides and back for something to match the new top, I thought it turned out nice!
(Pictures are just blurry of the wainscoting, not sure what happened during that!)

When you need some extra storage, but want to have something a bit more, this is what you can come up with!

Plenty of upper shelving storage, with quite a bit of space in the cabinets. All built into the existing room.

I love being able to take a few sheets of plywood and a bit of time, to bring an awesome idea to life! I also had to build the doors from scratch, absolutely love the opportunity to do things like that!
