A closer look at one of the spaces that makes this home truly unique.

Designed for entertaining, this room brings together an integrated bar and extensive wine storage in a space that feels connected to the rest of the home. Before concrete is poured and construction moves forward, every detail shown here has already been carefully coordinated through the reflected ceiling plan (RCP).

The RCP is a technical drawing that shows the layout of lighting, HVAC, speakers, smoke detectors, sprinklers, and other ceiling elements, allowing these systems to be coordinated before installation begins.

While the reflected ceiling plan itself can sometimes be seen as only “dots on a page,” the coordination it provides helps identify potential conflicts early, reducing costly changes, saving time, and keeping the project moving efficiently.

It’s one of the many behind-the-scenes steps our team takes to ensure every custom home is built on a strong foundation.

Over the past few weeks, many of our projects have reached several key milestones, from radiant floor heating and gypcrete pours to landscaping, exterior finishes, and outdoor living spaces that are beginning to take shape.

Each custom home is at a different stage, but the same level of care, coordination, and craftsmanship guides the work across every site. It’s rewarding to see the progress unfold and watch the details come together one step at a time.

Since we last shared renderings of this home, there’s been significant progress on site.

With landscaping about to get underway, we’ve been working closely with landscape architect Mark Pettes as the exterior spaces develop. During a recent site meeting, our teams reviewed a custom sport court installation and finalized the overall planning for the property.

These walkthroughs are an important part of how we manage projects at BrookeBuilt. They give us the opportunity to review materials, coordinate with trades and consultants, and ensure the details are executed as intended.
