Start last week with flood restoration - demo, insulation, vapour barrier, drywall and trim - budgeted 1 week to get everything ready for the Painters. An amazing idea to stop wasting energy!

Framing sketch up for our main bathroom master piece. Employing accessible standards such as grab bars, no thresholds, 30" shower door, seating within the shower and a handheld Shower Faucet. In this reel, we are laying out custom fabricated mirrored medicine cabinets containing adjustable shelves that will be flushmounted with the wall. Drywall is onsite, waterproofing up next and then taping, painting and trim. Let's talk about high performance and as my Passive House catchphrase is - Feel the Energy Efficiency, Think Passive House. This article is a good reminder why we need to think aggressively towards the Passive House standards in (renovations) and new builds. There are a few things that one could do that will bring their love of living in a hygienic good for the environmental low carbon low energy use home. STOP WASTING MONEY!!

Gearing up for another wild adventure at (points for anyone who determines where and why this Project Name!!!). Of course, it is another flood and our expertise is being called up on several fronts: cleaning up the mould and water damage, previous termite infestation, bringing the high performance energy efficiency standards up to this leaky 1980`'s townhouse, and finally hitting a bulleyes 🎯 into our wheelhouse 🛞🏠, kitchen renovation and a creative ensuite bathroom and dressing room combo! We will be removing the stippled ceiling, adding new skylights, securing the subfloor, relocating the laundry facilities, building walls, adding a new hot water tank, removing the chimney and replacing all exterior doors and windows. Our usual team and cast of characters will be making an appearance to turn this amazing townhouse, into something FABULOUS ..... Stay Tuned!!
