I went out this afternoon to check on my potato plants (they’re not quite ready yet!), and ended up snagging my hand on a wood spike from the raised bed. Purely my own fault for being too lazy to grab my gloves first!

I'm totally fine now, though—my husband came to the rescue and helped me get the splinter out. Definitely taking this as my final warning... the gloves are staying on from now on! 😅🌱

My rose plant has been blooming non-stop lately, and I can’t get over how wonderful it smells. It’s a subtle, delicate fragrance—not too loud, just enough to catch in the breeze and instantly lift my spirits every time I walk past.
It’s brought so much happiness that I’m already planning ahead—next year, I’m definitely adding some white roses to the backyard! 🤍

It’s amazing how much joy a little green thumb effort can bring into everyday life. 🌸
