In the past two weeks I’ve met with six very prominent custom builders here in Ontario. They all build absolutely stunning homes and have created very successful businesses. There is one main aspect of each of their businesses that struggles. How to fully adopt, implement, monitor, and manage the systems and processes required to build a perfect home time after time.

They all have processes, systems, and structure. But the struggle is real to ensure all team members fully embrace them every day.

Communication, transparency, quality, client satisfaction, profitability, schedule, eliminating risk, control, certainty. An awful lot happens everyday.

Meet Craig Hepburn. Owner of Alair Homes Lawrence Park for the last five years.

Craig owned Hepburn Contracting for 13 years prior to Alair. His education and background as an engineer, created a very meticulous person that had to have his hands on every aspect of every project. This ensured very successful projects however really limited his ability to scale his business and maintain the experience and quality his clients expected from him.

Since joining Alair, Craig has created an extremely strong team within his business. He now focuses on business growth, exceeding goals, and maintaining accountability for everyone involved.
