No step to climb over. No curb to trip on.
This curbless shower runs one continuous floor from the bathroom straight into the shower area, with a slim linear drain along the wall. You walk in, roll in, or shuffle in with a walker. The entry is simply flat.
That is the real freedom of a barrier-free design: nothing between you and the shower. It is the layout we recommend most for anyone planning to age in place, recovering from surgery, or sharing one bathroom across generations.
Under the tile it is a hand-built mortar base with full waterproofing, sloped so the water finds the drain and not your bathroom floor.
