There’s something about the final stages of a project that feels so personal — walking through the rooms, marking the exact placement of every handle and hook, checking the millwork, refining the details… knowing that soon, Adelene will hug and nurture a family and be their home!

And somehow, my own little family is growing alongside it. I’m a mom one boy, soon to be a mom of two… and in the middle of it all, I’m bringing this girl to life too.

Meet Adelene — a character-filled custom home shaped by warm materials, thoughtful details, timeless interiors, and a whole lot of intention.

I never fully appreciated the power of a well-designed laundry room until I stepped into one. Suddenly, what felt like a chore transformed into a calming and organized space that I looked forward to entering.

One thing I hear all the time is, “Your job must be so fun, you get to pick furniture and decorate houses all day”

And yes, that part is fun.

But the reality is that decorating is only a small piece of what we do.

Before the furniture, before the styling, and before the final reveal, we’re reviewing layouts, designing millwork, coordinating permits, sourcing finishes, managing timelines, overseeing construction, and solving countless functional challenges along the way.

A beautiful home isn’t created by a few good decor choices. It’s the result of thoughtful planning, technical knowledge, and hundreds of decisions happening behind the scenes.

Windows are often overlooked in interior design because they’re seen as an architectural element first.

I believe windows play major role in how a space feels and vibes in each home.

The stain colour, paint colour, trim detail, panels, and even the shape of a window can transform the mood of a space dramatically.

In this home, we designed every single window detail and placement intentionally, and chose aluminum windows with wood interiors to have the freedom of customizing every single window to complement the design of the surrounding space.

Instead of having all black or white windows throughout the house, we tailored each one differently to match the feeling and character of each room.

This adds so much charm to the home from the moment you enter and gives the home a unique detail that is truly timeless and full of charm.

A beautiful bold blue moment 💙

We knew the second we held this navy zellige tile that the whole bathroom had to be drenched in it.

No “accent wall,” no playing it safe… just fully committing to the mood.

And honestly - I’m so glad we did. The way the light hits the texture and color makes the whole space feel cozy, bold, moody, and a little bit dramatic in the best way!

Behind every beautifully designed space is a strong relationship between the designer and the trades bringing it to life. The best projects happen when creativity, skill, trust, communication, and collaboration all work together seamlessly.

We may joke around on site, but the relationship between designers and trades is one of the most important parts of any successful project. Thoughtfully zoned for two different personalities, with little details that make everyday routines easier.

This is what happens when modern design meets organic warmth.

We designed and built this house for a family of 4 which we started collaborating with from the layout development stage to build them a house that reflected their lifestyle.

Quiet luxury was our focus in design here. We wanted the house to feel warm and inviting with an organic feel to it.

We incorporated the key elements of French country style, to blend the organic softness of a country side home with timeless classic elegance.

We were being mindful of the flow and maximizing functionality in every square inch of the space.

Our clients wanted this bathroom to feel really charming, warm, and cozy - but still modern and elevated.

We added interior windows to divide the shower and tub space, which brings so much charm and visual interest and makes the whole space feel more custom. We used a mix of different tiles and stone to add depth and character because layering materials keeps a bathroom from feeling flat and sterile.

The key to a clutter-free space is always lots of storage, so we incorporated a medicine cabinet and plenty of drawers with organization for all the hair tools and everyday products. We also built a shower niche to keep products neatly stored within the wall, which instantly adds that more luxurious feel.

We added gold finishes with soft white accents throughout to bring warmth and softness, and for the vanity we chose a warm wood tone to keep the space feeling grounded. The wood adds that perfect contrast against the stone and tile and helps everything feel cozy instead of cold.
