This project started with a slope so steep, most wouldn’t touch it.
The property had huge potential, but the grade was a real hurdle. The homeowners wanted usable outdoor space, not just a hill.
So, our first job was massive excavation.
We dug deep, brought in clear stone for a solid foundation, and started building up the retaining elements.
Armour stone walls were key to holding back the hill, creating stable zones.
From there, we engineered two distinct levels.
The upper section got a unit paver surface for clean walkways.
And the lower section? That became another large patio, finished with beautiful contrasting stone.
We made sure to connect both areas with precast steps.
It was a true test of engineering and design, but the final result speaks for itself.
