Yesterday, toward the end of a big tree removal job, our crew spotted something incredible: two tiny baby owls tucked deep inside a hollow log!
At Breaking Ground Contracting Tactical Tree Removal, we are deeply dedicated to protecting all local wildlife. We always do our best to be vigilant so we don't disturb nesting birds, but since these little guys were hidden inside the tree, there was no way to know they were there.The second we saw those little faces, continuing to work wasn't an option. We shut down immediately to keep them safe.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to Jenn Salo at Thunderbird Raptor Rescue. She dropped everything, rushed to our jobsite, and took the owlets in for a full assessment. 🦉💚
We sleep easy knowing these sweet birds are in the absolute best hands!
