Another restock delivered for the Taylor Trading Post this morning! If I’m being honest I’ve been really overwhelmed with the incredible support. People showing up minutes after I share the restock updates, people driving 30+min to get their farm fresh flowers same day, people ordering multiple custom orders, and so much more. Thank you for supporting our small family farm 🥹
We are putting a ton of time and investment into the farm and I am so excited to see the blooms making their way to so many of you 🤍

So Wednesday-Saturday there should be fresh blooms delivered and available at the Trading Post!

A little of life lately 🥰
Some beautiful flowers, some insane weeds, grasshoppers that are giving me ptsd so I refuse to document, beetles harvesting into soap water early in the morning and some fun with family on the lake. And yes the tent caterpillars seem to of wiped out all the trees at the lake too 😅 But they are all gone at our place so that’s pretty exciting!!
Flower farming has been kicked to a new level this year with the amount we are harvesting from early June on and the pests are something I didn’t really think about when we started this adventure but is very much a constant around here too!

These stunning flowers have an incredible vase life (remember to change out the water frequently and keep out of direct sunlight) and you can enjoy watching them open up and double in size and change to softer colours as two weeks goes by.

There is something so beautifully satisfying about growing flowers and seeing what they turn into. Ranunculus are so stunning and truly have me stopping to pause everytime I walk past my kitchen table where they are sitting.
We have picked about 100 blooms today, but I’m hoping to harvest 20 or so more to make some little mini bouquets for our flower stand, but for now please appreciate the details of these stunning blooms.

FULL DAHLIA CLUMPS AVAILABLE 🌸

I have about 5 large storage tubs of dahlia clumps that I need to clear out this week. I simply don’t have the garden space to store or plant them all this season.

$5 per clump
Minimum pickup: 5 clumps ($25)

I was selling individual tubers for $10 each earlier this year that you all sold out! These are full clumps that can contain roughly 3–30 tubers each, depending on the plant.

They can be planted as a whole clump or divided into multiple plants.

Some are labelled varieties (Cafe Au Lait, Castle Drive, Petra’s Wedding, Larks Ebbe, etc.), but I also have a number of mystery clumps where the labels came off but are still healthy, just a surprise mix of colours and forms 😊

Pickup only, I can be available tomorrow or next week depending on timing.

This is a great time to plant now that the weather has finally warmed up so come pick up some clumps, and bring them right home to plant and enjoy! 🌿

I will be doing a much better job at dividing early next year and do pre-sales of individuals :)
