What a transformation! From over grown jungle to functional backyard. Our customer recently purchased a new home with a yard that was in desperate need of some cleaning up. We came in and pulled out the 30 years of over growth and dead trees, hauled it all away, then started to reshape the land. They were looking to keep the mature solid trees and to have a flat area close to the house to develop into a patio/ fireplace area in the future.

Another garage pad graded out and compacted. We had some stubborn stumps, brush and a hidden garden box to remove before cutting and leveling the sub grade. After a Load of type 1 gravel, some grading and compacting, this pad is ready for the crew at DPI Concrete to pour the concrete slab.

Devon at DPI Concrete contacted us for the ground work on this this 30x30 engineered garage pad. We first stripped the sod and started to cut and fill to make a level surface to build off of. We ran some stubs and sleeves for utilities then proceed with gravel to start building and shaping the monolithic pad. Before and after of a little project we've been working on for a fantastic customer. First part was getting the patio stone walkway in, I called Grizzly Excavation Ltd. To deliver some base material and to help out with the install for the walkway. Once that was completed we peeled all the sod of the slope in the front yard, laid down some geotextile fabric then had 2"-4" river rock slung over the entire slope. Next was a bit of sub grading and top soil work to tie the whole project together.

This septic was in need of a new cover, the metal lid that the vent pipe is attached to was rusted pretty bad and starting to deteriorate. We dug off the existing lids and removed them. We had the tank cleaned out so we could inspect it for cracks or any other issues before installing the new lid. Once it was confirmed the tank and plumbing were good we installed the new lid, backfilled and laid out some gravel for their new patio and walkway area.

Making way for a new steel shed structure!
Customer requested to flatten out this area of their lawn so he could build a platform for his new utility shed. After the lawn was flattened out we dug 9 sono tubes for the structure to sit on. After some measuring and what felt like a kilometer of string line we had our marks and dug the holes. Once the tubes were set we came back to backfill the holes, now he's ready to fill the tubes with concrete and continue on with his project.
