#2 Your mini-split filter needs cleaning more often than you think.

We get it — your mini-split is pretty easy to forget about when it’s quietly doing its job.

But that little filter inside your indoor unit is constantly catching dust, dirt, pet hair and everything else floating around your house.

When that filter gets dirty, your unit has to work harder to move air.

A quick filter cleaning can help:

- Keep the airflow strong
- Help your unit run efficiently
- Keep the air coming out cleaner
- Prevent unnecessary strain on the system

And the good news? It’s one of the easiest things you can do yourself.

If you have a ductless heat pump, take a minute this week to pop open the front cover and have a look. You might be surprised at what’s hiding in there.

This email is NOT from us.

Our email accounts have not been compromised, and so far, the people who have contacted us about these emails have not been customers of ours.

If you receive an email claiming you have an outstanding balance with Ell’s Cool Air and you don't recognize it, please do not send any money, click any suspicious links, or provide any personal or banking information.

If you're unsure whether something is legitimate, give us a call directly, and we can check it for you.

We wanted to put this out there because we would rather people be cautious than have someone get caught by it.

#1 — Your heat pump needs room to breathe.

It’s summer, the grass is growing, the patio furniture is out, and suddenly the area around your heat pump becomes the perfect place to put… well, everything. 😂

But your outdoor unit needs good airflow to do its job properly.

🚫 Don’t let grass, weeds or shrubs grow up around it.
🚫 Don’t block it with patio furniture or other outdoor stuff.
🚫 Don’t pile things around the unit.
🚫 And please… don’t use it as a storage shelf.

Keeping the area around your outdoor unit clear helps your heat pump move air properly and operate the way it should.

It might seem like a small thing, but a little breathing room goes a long way.

And if you're ever unsure whether your unit has enough clearance, give us a call. We'd much rather answer the question than have you find out the hard way.

🎓 A Big Week for the Ell's Cool Air Family! 🎓

This week, we're celebrating a huge milestone as our son, Aaron, graduates!

We couldn't be prouder of the hard work, determination, and dedication he's shown to reach this point. Even more exciting, Aaron will soon be starting the next chapter of his journey as an apprentice here at Ell's Cool Air, carrying on the family tradition and learning the trade firsthand.

As we take some time this week to celebrate his achievement with family and friends, we ask for your patience if we aren't able to get to everyone's needs as quickly as usual. Rest assured, we're still here and doing our best to keep up with calls, messages, and appointments.
