Just finished one of our biggest renovations yet. The old Pearson Insurance building was one that almost kicked our butts. All that is left is the exterior paint on the front.
Credits go to Kelly O’Neill for bringing us onto the job, Craig Edwards for an awesome crackfill job, Evelyn Flynn for the finish Paint, Steve Coates for Exterior Paint, Mike and Brandon Davis for the Plumbing, Scott Trafton on Electrical, Greenfoot on insulation, and Darryn McFarlene on the Flooring. It was essentially a 4 month endeavour from gut to finish and we are so glad to put it behind us. Pictures don’t really capture the true scope but we couldn’t be more happy. Thanks Andrew Dorey for your patience, and see you over at 700 Main Street for its facelift!

Just wanted to show some appreciation for this guy. He's a great lad, puts up with a lot of grief, and puts in the work like a champ. He makes friends with every customer he meets and has a heart of gold. Thanks, Noah, for keeping the wheels turning each day with every project we touch and for helping bring people's visions and ideas to life. You’re a great Carpenter, and an even better friend. See you Monday, bud!

Nice little job swapping out some wooden doors for insulated steel ones, with some fascia repairs all the way in Petitcodiac. Thanks Mike! Hopefully that helps with the cold weather!

What a nice day to pull out of our first garage of 2026. Simple, utilitarian 24x30x10 with a nice 8x16 overhead door getting installed. Also a newly renovated basement bath cleaned up nicely. Now for final grade, new driveway, gutters, and electrical and our new friends Peter and Laura will have ample storage in their new home. Welcome to Sussex guys :)

Little photo dump from our job at the old Pearson Insurance building. What was once a tired, dated looking space with a closet sized bathroom, now has sound deadened offices with a true reception area, 3 bathrooms on the main floor, insulated exterior, multiple heat pumps, and a clean new interior. The new owners are moving in today! Now for the store front and upstairs 3bdrm apartment remodel. 🤩

All ready for a pour on Monday. We had to say goodbye to our NBCC student, John. He had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience installing finished floors, high-end door installations, trim work, constructing a fine finished freestanding deck, and forming an insulated slab-on-grade, all in the course of 3 weeks. This was a great first experience for us at McKnight Building & Remodeling, and we hope to do more work placements in the future.
