A cozy, moody kitchen for a day like today. One of our favourite things to do is design beautiful, functional kitchens in small spaces. And of course, we had to include the original farmhouse sink.

Thrilled with how this kitchen renovation turned out.

It was a good reminder that sometimes the layout you have in mind doesn’t work out exactly as planned, and that can be a blessing in disguise!

We originally planned to keep the kitchen in its existing location, but during the renovation we discovered a beam that couldn’t be removed. That unexpected discovery meant rethinking the entire layout, and ultimately moving the kitchen into what had originally been the dining room.

And honestly, we couldn’t love the result more. Sometimes the best spaces come from the plans you didn’t expect to make!
