Seven days on the clock this week — and our crew didn’t blink. When the jobs keep coming, the Mountain Men keep climbing.

No pressure, no problem. 💪

Today we moved mountains for a customer at a campground 🏕️

This laundry facility — three bathrooms with showers plus the laundry room — had a pressure problem. If someone was showering 🚿, you couldn’t run laundry 🧺. If laundry was running, showers dropped to a trickle. Not exactly ideal in a busy campground.

So they called the Mountain Men to get the system flowing again 💧

The fix: a Franklin Versa Boost pump, paired with a sand filter to deal with debris getting into the line. We also cleaned up some of the existing piping while we were in there, so the whole system’s running the way it should.

The result? All four washing machines running at once, and three people showering at the same time — full pressure, no compromises. ⚙️

💩 Mondays Can Be Kinda Poopy…

Not gonna lie — sometimes being a plumber isn’t glamorous. But every now and then, what’s clogging the drain ISN’T what you’d expect. 😅

This is a chocolate factory! 🍫🏭

Fun fact: chocolate is one of the worst things to get out of a drain — it sets up almost like concrete. Luckily for our client, we’ve got the recipe. 😏

And it wasn’t just one drain — we had TWO to tackle. We brought in the water blaster: 3,500 PSI at 12 gallons per minute to cut right through all that chocolatey goodness. 😋

Both drains are flowing smooth as a Swiss waterfall now, the area’s all cleaned up, and they’re ready to keep all us chocolate lovers happy. 😎

🔥 25 Years of Faithful Service — Time to Retire!

This old water heater has been cranking out hot showers for 25 years. That’s a good, long run — but all good things must come to an end!

To drain it, we popped out the bottom electrical element… otherwise we might’ve been standing around another 25 years waiting for it. 😆

And wow — this thing was PACKED with sediment. We’re talking piled up well above the electrical element. No wonder it was ready to call it quits.

Brand new unit installed and already pumping out hot water for our happy homeowners. ✅

Out with the old, in with the new! 💧

Not Every Job Is Pretty 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️

When you work in a morgue, sometimes you have to see and smell things that are unpleasant. Thankfully our technicians do whatever it takes to complete the task, no matter what.

It’s a good thing this isn’t a morgue. And that’s just jelly filling in the sink. 😝

Temporary wash up sink installed, and clean equipment, Jelly free! Just another day keeping food production running for our clients.

🔧 Chemical Line Repair – Zero Downtime for Our Food Plant Client

Today the Swiss Mountain Mechanical team tackled a chemical line repair at one of our food plant customers. The line had been temporarily patched by the plant’s own maintenance staff to keep things running — great stopgap, but not a long-term fix.

Our crew locked out and fully drained the system before making the repair, and while we were in there, we installed a new isolation valve so future maintenance on this line will be faster and easier.

Best part? We got it all done with no production downtime for the client.

That’s the goal on every job — safe, code-compliant repairs that keep our food and beverage clients running.

It’s been a busy few months here on the mountain!

We’ve had a nice mix of residential, industrial and commercial work. 💪

Look up. Look waaaaay up !

Early mornings! 4:00 am starts 😞 …. We had to compete this job before the store opens.

Leaking rain inside the building is never a good sign.

Swapped out for a new roof drain body. Snap a new piece of cast-iron. 💪 Re-insulate the piping.

The crew will sleep well 😴 tonight …
