Two Guys One Canvas Two childhood friends with post secondary educations in Visual Arts combining their creativity and skill to get more involved in the growing Art Community.

Two Guys One Canvas is a collaboration between two childhood friends from Stoney Creek, Ontario that both studied Visual Arts in post secondary institutions. After suffering from debilitating back injuries, both of their lives were put on hold and the amount of free time increased exponentially. In the past they would jokingly bounce ideas off of each other about art and painting, so this seemed l

ike a perfect opportunity to join forces and work together. After some serious discussion they decided to turn their new abundance of downtime into a means in which to be creative and experimental, when life gives you lemons…They decided their lemonade was going to be in the form of paintings ranging from all types of style and technique in search of their own style, and thus Two Guys One Canvas was born. The objective for TGOC is for two buddies to take some unfortunate luck and to somehow turn it around into something profitable financially and motivationally. Their injuries are both significant 'bumps in the road' and instead of sitting around feeling sorry for themselves they realized that with such similar backgrounds in art, as well as being very close to the growing art trends in Hamilton, that it would be a shame to not get involved. Contributing and participating in Hamilton's Art Crawl would be a major accomplishment for them in the near future. As some of you may know, I (Dave) am an illustrator/graphic designer, when I'm not painting along side my Two Guys One Canvas partner, Nick DeSantis. I get to design and produce graphic t-shirts along side fellow friends/partners for FD Printing. Recently with the event that took place last month in Ottawa, we've taken it upon ourselves to honour Nathan Cirillo in designing the "Ottawa Strong, Hamilton Proud" shirt. This shirt is for sale at www.fdprinting.ca/shop - This allows you to not only purchase a shirt for yourself but also to donate funds to the Marcus Cirillo trust fund set up at TD Canada Trust.
