Saturday morning’s frost officially ended our flower season. Frost or no frost, it was time to switch gears and make room for a new season.

And just like that, our last harvest of the 2026 flower season is here. 🌸

We haven’t had a killing frost yet, and we might get one tonight, but frost or no frost, we’re calling it a season!

The timing couldn’t be better because our dahlia clump sale opens tomorrow at 10 AM! 👀 Now it’s time to dig thousands of tubers, get them sorted, and put the field to rest for the winter.

2026 flower season, you were something special. ❤️ Now onto tubers! 🥔

FALL CLUMP SALE vs. FEBRUARY TUBER SALE 🌸WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

We’ve started digging some of our dahlias, and these clumps are looking BEAUTIFUL! 😍

We’ve had lots of questions about what you’re actually getting with our fall clump sale compared to our February tuber sale.

🌸 Fall clump: You get the entire clump, with the tubers still attached to the crown. Divide it when you receive it or store it whole and divide in spring.

🌸 February tubers: We divide our clumps, select viable tubers with a piece of crown and an eye, and label them individually.

Clumps come in all shapes and sizes, with a minimum of 3 viable tubers, and most likely a lot more!

🧡 4 orange dahlias I’ll grow again and again forever.

If you love warm, peachy, sunset-coloured dahlias, save this one:

🧡 Jowey Linda — bright, warm orange
🍑 20th Avenue — soft peachy orange
🧡 Nicholas — rich, classic orange
🧡 Cornel Bronze — deep bronze-orange + an absolute workhorse

These are 4 I’d recommend if you’re looking to add more orange dahlias to your garden or cutting patch.

THANKSGIVING FLOWER AVAILABILITY 🦃💐

Believe it or not… our flowers made it through last night! 🌸

We really thought we were going to lose them with the cold, but somehow, the field is still looking beautiful!

So, if you’re looking for a few flowers for your Thanksgiving table or a host gift, we’ll have a small amount available.

🌸 Wrapped bouquets — $40, $50 or $75
🌸 Bulk buckets — $100 for 50 stems if you’d like to make your own arrangements

Did you know you can grow dahlias from seed? 🌱

Each seed is unique, which means every seedling can be completely different.

I’m saving these mature seed heads now to dry and plant next spring, and who knows what they’ll become!

A pretty perfect way to end our 2026 U-pick season. 🌸🥹

Looking at this photo from today, I’m feeling so incredibly grateful.

Thank you to every single person who came out to a U-pick, an event, a workshop, stopped by the field, or ordered flowers this season, including all of the florists who trusted me with their orders. You have no idea how much it means to see so many people enjoying something that I’ve poured so much of myself into.

It’s so easy for me to get caught up in the work and the never-ending to-do list. But then I look up and see the smiles, hear the excitement, and get to talk with people about flowers, life, and everything in between.

I’ve loved hearing your stories, meeting new people, reconnecting with familiar faces, and hearing why flowers have become part of your lives. Those moments are what remind me to slow down and appreciate what I’ve created here.

The flowers may bring you to the field, but the people are what fill my cup. ❤️

Thank you for showing up, supporting my little flower farm, sharing your stories, placing orders, and making this 2026 flower season so special. I truly couldn’t do this without you.
