🐿️🦦 Multi-Species Exclusion
Just wrapped up a complex exclusion job involving squirrels on the exterior and weasels in the basement—with signs of mice and rats as well.
🔧 Two one-way doors installed—one in the soffit near the tree line, one tucked beside the back porch. Both entry points sealed to allow safe exit, no re-entry.
🧱 Inside, I found signs of mice and rats using structural gaps and passageways throughout the basement. One rat burrow had been repurposed by an ermine (weasel), likely drawn in by the rodent activity. Weasel hair and movement confirmed it was actively using the space as a den.
🧰 I sealed multiple gaps with repellent foam and set traps to monitor the weasel’s presence. Once we’re confident there’s no remaining activity, all exit points will be sealed fully—ensuring no animals are trapped inside and no return guests.
🛠️ The exterior was reinforced with steel wool and galvanized mesh hardware to prevent re-entry and protect the structure long-term.
Not every job comes with perfect before/after shots, but the work speaks for itself. Humane, strategic, and thorough—because wildlife deserves respect, and clients deserve clarity.
If you’re hearing noises or noticing signs of intrusion, don’t wait. The longer wildlife settles in, the harder it is to find every entry point—and the more damage they can do. Early action means cleaner solutions, less stress, and better outcomes for everyone involved.
