One year and it hasn’t gotten easier. Missing you everyday Dan!!

Yesterday we lost a great man Dan Hofer, one of the best employees and longest employed at Wurtz bros of 20 plus years! He was a hard worker, great communicator and knew his job inside and out, there was nothing he hadn’t done or wasn’t willing to tackle as part of our team. He was our go to guy for fabrication, welding, modifying or improving our concrete mixers.

His work ethic and dedication to his job and wisdom are irreplaceable. He was gentle but stern, had a heart of gold and would go the extra mile for the company. I had the opportunity to work with him for 5 years and he taught me a lot of things but the one thing I’ll never forget is his respect for others, it didn’t matter who you were, old, young, veteran or rookie he respected you and expected the same in return. His love for his wife, boys, work and hobbies was evident every single day!

As I hold back tears while writing this we just want you to know Dan you are gone but never forgotten, your memory will live on forever. we miss you so much already.

Wurtz bros also sends our prayers and condolences to the family, Gladys, Judah and Shawn.
