A little day in the life of the “office manager” behind TrueTemp Mechanical 😂🔧

Somewhere between packing lunches, answering emails, pulling permits, updating the website, creating social media content, doing approximately 700 loads of laundry (which still isn’t done 😂), getting dinner started, and Mom life… we run a little family HVAC company too.

Blair might be the one you see out in the field with the tools, but this is a little peek at what happens behind the scenes at TrueTemp.

It’s definitely not a traditional office job, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

After our recharge time away, this morning started with checking over the trailer. Making sure everything is stocked, charged, loaded up and ready for todays first jobs back.

And yes… my husband absolutely LOVES when I interrupt what he’s doing with:

“Wait! Stop. I need a picture for social media.” 📸😂

As you can probably tell by photo #2, being married to the person responsible for TrueTemp’s social media is one of Blair’s favourite parts of owning a business. 🤣

But hey… someone has to document the behind-the-scenes stuff!

☀️ 18 days later… and we’re HOME! 🔧❤️

After 18 days of lake days, paddleboards, camping, family, friends, adventures, laughs and making some pretty great memories, our annual summer holiday has officially come to an end.

We are incredibly lucky to be able to take this time every summer to slow down, spend time together and enjoy a little break from the craziness of everyday life. ❤️

But after 18 days away, we’re home, unpacked… well, mostly unpacked 😂… and ready to hit the ground running again with TrueTemp Mechanical!

Blair is back to the tools, I’m back to the messages, emails and everything behind the scenes, and somehow we came home to realize September is right around the corner. 🍂😳

We’re definitely not wishing summer away just yet, but in Alberta we all know what that means ..., furnace season and chilly garage mornings aren't too far behind. 😂❄️

For now, we just wanted to say WE’RE BACK! And a huge thank you to everyone who reached out while we were away, waited patiently for our return, recommended TrueTemp to someone, shared our posts or continued to support our little family business.

We had an amazing break, made a whole lot of memories, and now we’re refreshed and ready to get back to work. 🔧

☀️ Happy August Long Weekend from our family to yours!

Yesterday was all about the journey, but this morning... this was our view. 💙

After two days of traveling, we've officially settled into beautiful Osoyoos, BC for a couple of weeks of sunshine, lake days, and quality time with our family.

Running a small business often means evenings, weekends, and long days, so we're incredibly thankful to be able to take a little time to slow down, recharge, and make memories together.

To all of our amazing customers, thank you. Your trust and support of our family business make moments like this possible, and we never take that for granted.

We hope you're all enjoying the August long weekend, whether you're at the lake, camping, relaxing at home, or spending time with the people you love. Stay safe, enjoy the sunshine, and we'll see you again soon!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From a Community Post to a Happy Customer

When Cami Malbeuf posted in a local Facebook community looking for help because her A/C wasn't cooling properly, we reached out to see if we could help.

After diagnosing the system, Cole found the issue,a failed capacitor that was preventing the air conditioner from running properly. Once the repair was complete, he gave the system a full inspection and noticed the outdoor condenser coil was heavily plugged with dust and debris.

Instead of stopping at the repair, he cleaned the condenser coil to restore proper airflow and help the system run more efficiently.
