We recently set up our local team in Anglemont, while our son Blake continues running our branch in the lower Mainland. We built our entire business on customer referrals and treating every home as if it were our own.

From roughly 2015 to 2018, we managed tile installations for 12 Lower Mainland Home Depot locations, stretching from Squamish to Hope. Renee handled all the in-home estimates, often bringing Blake along to teach him the ins and outs of measuring and design, while leading a team of professional installers.

In the first six months alone, a huge part of our job was fixing extremely poor tile work from previous installs. In this industry, the standard warranty is often just 1 year. That’s a problem because a rushed or improper tile job might hold up for 12 months, but shortly after, it starts to fail.

Ultimately, we parted ways with that model because the corporate markups simply weren't fair to homeowners, and we refused to compromise on quality or integrity.

One thing James always says is how frustrating it is when trades don't care about the next person coming onto the jobsite. Sadly, that happens all too often.

On our projects, we’ve worked hard to build a team of true professionals who take pride in doing a job right, working seamlessly together, and respecting the next trade coming in after them.

Did you know James was once hired by HGTV? 🎥

He did all the outdoor tile work for two full seasons of Take It Outside! It was a wild, busy chapter for us...long days and some really fun tile challenges, from full outdoor bar and bbq areas to peaceful yoga spaces.

The bright lights were fun, but nothing beats the feeling of helping our local clients create a space they love coming home to every day.

Something some of you may not know about me is that my first name is actually Tracy! About 10 years ago, I decided to shift to using my middle name, Renee....it just feels much more "me." While I’ll answer to either, I prefer Renee and always introduce myself as such.

Beyond the name, something else you might not know is what goes on behind the scenes here! Behind every smooth, beautiful renovation is a lot of thoughtful planning, and that’s where I come in.

I do most of the site visits and measure up projects, designing the project and helping our customers choose all the materials from sourcing cabinetry (we currently have 3 different cabinetry companies that we work with to find the exact fit for each project).

Helping to choose colors, pick flooring, sinks, countertops, windows, faucets and pulling it all together. I do our job estimation and work together closely with each customer to help them get a project going from start to finish.

I will meet up and bring samples to their home and give some guidance as to which products would work well in their space. I love designing functional beautiful spaces and have lived through many renovations!!!

I know how important it is to have all of the details decided before our crew shows up on site.

Our typical bathroom remodel is 2-3 weeks from start to finish and a full kitchen remodel is between 6-7 weeks. We have done this consistently for over 20 years with many happy customers!

Our process starts with really listening to what our clients are wanting to achieve to helping them put it all together and then ordering all materials well before their scheduled start date.

This allows us to start each project with a clear vision and minimal delays. Our most common delays on a project are when customers decide to add more work as we are in progress. We do try our very best to accommodate our customers in these requests.

It is a huge compliment once having finished a project to have these same customers call us back a year or many years later to do other projects in their home.
