Getting that perfect fall 🌳

It starts with a face cut, followed by a back cut, and a couple of well-placed felling wedges. The wedges add lift, keep the saw from getting pinched, and help persuade the tree to commit to the planned direction. 🤘🏾🪓

Last night’s storm left this homeowner with a major mess - a large maple tree came down, taking out their fence, stretching across the alley, and causing damage to the neighbour’s fence on the other side.

They gave us a call this morning, and we were able to respond quickly, safely remove the tree, and clean up the debris! 🌳🪓

If you notice cracks, decay or hollow areas at the base of your tree, don’t wait until it becomes a problem.

These can be warning signs of structural weakness and may increase the risk of failure during storms or high winds. Give us a call to have it assessed before damage occurs!
