Great to have Katie Vhevha back with the FCC team this summer. 👏

After completing a 15-month co-op term with FCC & Marque Construction and returning to her Civil Engineering studies at the University of New Brunswick, Katie has joined the team once again this summer.

Building on the experience she gained across both commercial and industrial projects during her previous term, Katie is now supporting a major industrial project while continuing to learn from experienced members of the FCC team.

It's been great to see her continue developing her skills and gaining firsthand project experience.

After a previous term with Strescon, Jordan has returned to the OSCO Construction Group and is now gaining experience supporting active civil construction projects.

After working with Strescon's Pipe Division in 2025, Jordan has returned to the OSCO Construction Group this summer, joining the Civil Division at FCC & Marque Construction 👷

Building on the experience he gained in project estimating, Jordan is now supporting active civil projects while continuing to learn from experienced team members and gain exposure to another area of the construction industry.

Last month, members of our team attended the inaugural Co‑op Appreciation Day hosted by the UNB Saint John Faculty of Business. 🏆

We were proud to receive the Co‑op Student Experience Award, recognizing our commitment to providing a positive and meaningful experience for co-op students.

Congratulations to the University of New Brunswick, the Faculty of Business Co‑op team, fellow award recipients, and especially the students who continue to contribute, learn, and grow through these opportunities.

We’re grateful to be part of a program that connects students with valuable, real-world experience. 🤝

This World Environment Day, we’re taking steps both big and small to support a more sustainable future. 🌱

Through our “Trips‑to‑Trees” initiative, we’re turning everyday Ready-Mix delivery activity into long-term environmental impact, with plans to plant more than 5,000 trees in Nova Scotia to support restoration and reduce our footprint.

At our Saint John offices, employees are also taking part in a sapling and shrub giveaway, encouraging small actions that can make a difference over time.

Whether at work or at home, it all adds up.

As a five‑week placement with the Administration team at FCC & Marque Construction comes to an end, we’re recognizing the contributions and positive energy brought to the team by Kaela Dempster, a student from NBCC's Administrative Professional program.

From supporting work at our Saint John head office to gaining exposure to activity on a local project site, it’s been great to see this experience come together.

We recently had the chance to celebrate Robert Campbell and his retirement after 30 years with Marque Construction Limited. 🎉

Robert started as an electrician during a busy period of growth and quickly stepped into added responsibilities, including managing a long-running lighting contract across Atlantic Canada and supporting youth apprenticeship students along the way.

He later moved into estimating, where he found his stride, before lending his skills to Marque’s industrial side of the business, where he continued to make an impact for many years.

Robert built a career defined by reliability, versatility, and a willingness to step in wherever needed.

Wishing him all the best in retirement. 👏
