As some of you know, our business is sometimes a tough business. Some would wonder why construction is so tough. Our pipe has to be laid precisely, so that that the "gravity" infrastructure doesn't have any low spots that hold water, and our pressure systems (your potable drinking supply) doesn't leak. There are many other pieces to this puzzle, that, upon completion, we video the insides of our pipes and share the videos with individual municipalities to prove perfection of our product. This is where the rubber hits the road. Any deficiencies that they discover are either physically dug up (through newly paved roads) and repaired, or stringent penalties can be paid to "make the problem go away. It gets exponentially expensive. Where I go with this conversation is the fact that recently, one of our elite crews under direct supervision with our Superintendent Sammer had ZERO deficiencies. No dig ups, no questionable installations. To a business owner, this is always expected, but not always delivered. The money saved was partially swell spent last night. Ryan Haasen Woodworks and myself loaded up the team leaders and their wives ( who we truly appreciate) into the station wagon and enjoyed a dinner at (wait for it!) the Longview Steakhouse! An incredible evening followed by a cruise through the downtown core. Behind most men is a great women who understands the perils of our business and tows the line at home after the late hours our team endures. So grateful to have such a magnificent team here!
