A productive week so far as we begin work on another building. The one thing these photos don't capture is the reaction of the tenants when they see the transformation of their building. This is their home. And a little paint goes a long way to make a place feel cleaner and safer. Would you agree?

Having said that, one thing paint can't do, is undo your choice of flooring 25 years ago 🫣

Another mural by Marnie! She sure does make this look easy! Thanks to Derek for the referral!

We learned early on that you should always leave a job site cleaner than you found it (thanks Bob Durisin ). Normally we are cleaning up after electricians or carpenters. But today we were cleaning up after the squirrels and what was left behind from their walnut feast!

As an added bonus, it shows a little goodwill towards the neighbour on this particular job. With a large build going on beside them, they really want to find something to complain about after months of construction. The reality is, they can't. Our clieht Herb Reno's runs the safest, cleanest sites we have ever worked on. But, since they suggested this was an issue for them, we were more than happy to grab a broom and sweep the street. We did this for two reasons. 1) It's nice to be nice. And 2) it's simply the Fresh Approach 😁

Another week...another couple stairwells. Figuring out the logistics of this type of work is half the battle. The other half? Quick drying paint and tenants that happily co-operate with us while we carry out the work. We say it all the time, but a little paint goes a long way! In this case, 4 gallons over 2 x 9 storey stairwells. On to the next one! Have a great weekend everyone! 😎

As I was on a run after work this afternoon, I found myself reciting Robert Frost's 'A Road Not Taken' (a poem I had to memorize in grade 5 after forgetting my gym clothes). Which road do you think I took? 🪿😊

When does a professional painter hire a professional painter to do work on their own home? When the job involves lots of tall ladders, ladders on rooftops, and spray equipment!! Great job today by Sal and his crew from Prime House Painting!!

It's so nice when a project we're on includes some elements that allows (one of) us to put down the paint brush and flex some of our other muscles 💪 (yes, we do wallpaper and mural installations!).
