O’Laney’s Landscaping and Odd Jobs is a family-owned and operated business based in River John, Nova Scotia. We proudly maintain multiple properties across; Tatamagouche, Earltown, and Toney River areas. Our work ranges from flower bed maintenance to tree removal—and everything in between.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking labourer to join our team. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires someone who takes pride in delivering quality results.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with landscaping and property maintenance tasks (hedge trimming, whipper snipping, tree pruning)
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Follow all job site safety practices and procedures
• Complete assigned tasks with attention to detail and care
• Contribute positively to the team and daily operations
What We’re Looking For
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding labour
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated
• Familiarity with safe and efficient work habits
• Must have your own steel toed boots
• Reliable transportation to and from office.
Job Details
Type: seasonal, Full-time, with on-the-job training
Pay: $17.00/hour
Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Schedule: 6–8-hour shifts (approx. 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday- Fridays)
