Project Progress Update

Making great progress on this flooring transformation!

I started by removing the old tile and softwood flooring, exposing the existing subfloor and addressing any weak or uneven areas along the way. The next step has been installing new plywood throughout to create a solid, level foundation for the finished flooring.

A proper floor starts with proper preparation, and taking the time to build a strong base ensures a better-looking and longer-lasting final result.

Big Project Underway!

I’m excited to get started on this full flooring transformation! This project involves much more than simply installing new hardwood.

-Complete removal of the existing flooring and trim
-Preparation of the subfloor and adding plywood where needed to ensure all floor heights match seamlessly throughout the home
-Installation of brand-new hardwood flooring
-Reinstallation of fresh trim for a clean, finished look

Proper preparation is what makes the difference between a good floor and a great one. Taking the time to level and build up the subfloor ensures a smooth, consistent transition from room to room and a result that will last for years to come.

Another project wrapped up and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

This one included brand new flooring in both the basement and sunroom, along with all the finishing touches, shoe moulding throughout and custom trim work around the shower and fireplace to really tie everything together.

Unfortunately, I forgot to grab before photos of the basement, but I’ve got some great before, during, and after shots of the sunroom to show the transformation.

It’s always satisfying bringing a space to life from start to finish. Let me know what you think!
