This was a result of two-year-in-the-process project of school bus conversion. We have done everything inside, from the insulation, plumbing, gas lines, to the claddings and compartment design and installation. It was quite a project, and it was absolutely worth it.

I have more pictures and videos if anyone is interested.

It had hot water on demand, dishwasher, 50" TV, wood stove (which we couldn't use due to by laws of the municipality, where we had it parked), ample storage space, composting toilet and hot shower.

This was a project to replace 5 old windows in a residential building with new vinyl ones. The windows were bought through window supplier in Maple Ridge, BC. All of them were custom-made to spec, the largest two windows were 90"x46" (big boys) and yet the whole window package was only about $4.000

I had to drive to Vancouver anyway, so even with a gas cost for delivery, I was at about $450 round trip. Not bad. And even better, when I was talking with the guys in the store, they offered me delivery to Red Deer for an additional $125 for the big window. That would put the total cost for one big guy to about $1.200.
(The best quote in Alberta I got elsewhere was $2.100 for the same size window, and I would still have to go to pick it up in Calgary.)
I was happy to take their offer.

Each window was about 2 days of work, or about 18h. The first day was for installation and the second for finishing and cleanup.

This patio deck was a part of a larger project. Extension of an existing deck with stairs and adding second set of stairs, plus building of 3 gates and replacement of one existing handrail.

This project was a custom dog run for two dogs. The customer wanted wood combined with chain link fence.

This project took longer, than I expected, a lot of adjustments on the fly and remote area were quite a factor. Overall I am happy with the result and the client is too.

It took 110 hr to finish, combined with an extension of a patio deck and some minor additions.

Back door step renovation. I was working on this project in August 2025. The old concrete step was crumpling and cracking and was slippery when wet.

Here are some pictures before and after. I have a time-loop of the first 70% of the project, but then my battery gave out. Too bad.

The total project was done over one afternoon, including shopping for material, about 6 - 7 hours. Material cost about $200.

This is another project of mine, this time it was a Fence Renovation around a duplex. It took place in July 2025.

It was a total of 100 ft of old fence to be taken down, including the posts and building of 210 of new fencing, including 6 gates, continuation of neighbor's fence and implementing a new patio/deck within second unit's backyard. In the work was also included moving of the garden shed and setting of 4 cement blocks to extend pavement of the first unit's backyard.

The job took me 16 days straight, or about 150 work hours. Total material cost was about $6.000, mostly pressure treated wood and then some brackets, fence spikes and coated deck screws.

It was a fun project. I am happy when I see the results after a days work.

😁😎
