A little Canada Day story…

I came to Canada when I was 10 years old. My biggest concern? 🤔

“How am I going to survive these winters? What if the fluids inside my brain freeze and I end up with icicles in there?”

Totally reasonable thoughts for a 10-year-old girl… right? 😂

Fast forward a couple of decades, and life gave me much bigger things to wonder about.

I navigated a high-conflict divorce, depression, anxiety, overwhelming stress, abandonment, abuse, PTSD… and many days where simply getting through the day felt like an accomplishment.

Then somehow… life brought me into the hot tub industry.

At first I wondered why.

Now I know.

I wasn’t just learning how to survive the Canadian cold—I was learning how to survive life’s cold seasons too.

A hot tub became more than warm water. It became a place to breathe. To cry. To laugh. To think. To heal. A place where the nervous system could finally exhale. Sometimes, when family isn’t nearby or life feels heavy, that warm embrace is exactly what you need to remind yourself you’ll be okay.

It’s funny how life works.

The little girl who worried about freezing her brain ended up helping others warm their bodies, calm their minds, and reconnect with themselves every single day.

Cool story, eh? ❤️
