We'd love to install that new kitchen!

There are what can feel like a million steps between the start of a remodel and the end result. It's really important to prepare for each phase by lining up your contractors ahead of time. At any given time a contractor can have numerous projects on the go and scheduling can be challenging as each project usually has other professions, from plumbers to electricians, involved as well... not to mention unexpected hiccups that can arise.

Line up your installer by providing your cabinet layout complete with kitchen measurements to ensure they have a good idea of the scope of the project. This will make it easier for them to fit you in when you're ready to go.

Time for a long awaited update. It has been a year of change and growth for our business, which comes with headaches and stress but also excitement and new opportunities. We've moved our family and business headquarters to an acreage west of Sylvan Lake and are in the midst of setting up the shop again. Very soon everything will be run from our own little slice of paradise!

Check out our newest additions... these little girls will be Wh***ey Creek security soon.... but they'll need to grow into those big feet first!

It’s widely known that kitchen upgrades help sell a home! This townhouse got a facelift and they didn’t even need to replace the tile backsplash. It came together beautifully.

It’s really nice to work inside on weeks like this one. The tools are much happier and so is the crew.

We are looking for a contract cabinet installer urgently!

Experience is a must, he must have his own tools and vehicle and be confident working independently. Most of our work is west of Rocky Mountain House. Opportunities for a lot more work will be available for the right person.

In 2026 we will be working through some major growth and change that we are excited to share. After years of working as a sole prop, exploring exactly what we wanted this business to eventually look like, we have finally incorporated and are in the process of rebranding! Welcome to Wh***ey Creek Woodworking - a place where you can flex your creativity with projects that bring joy and warmth to your home.

Countertops and cabinets are still our main focus, but with the opportunity to move our shop to a larger space later this spring we will be better set up to take on more unique, custom woodworking projects, which has always been the dream.
