If you aren’t using your hot water baseboard heat, be aware that it is still full of water. This back room was too far from the heat pump and froze over night. The pipe burst and the boiler was still being fed from the home’s supply filling the room and passing through to the basement.

Moisture running down from the element cover on you’re water heater is never a good thing. This tank was at the end of its life and had to be replaced.

Replacing a waterlogged pressure tank today. A bad bladder inside can cause your pump to cut in every time you run your water, over working your pump and possibly burning it out prematurely.
