EV charger outlet installation completed in an underground parkade for a strata in North Vancouver.

Scope of work included running new conductors through existing conduit, installing a dedicated 20-amp breaker in the commercial electrical panel, and adding a NEMA 6-20 receptacle at the parking stall.

All work completed cleanly, efficiently, and in full compliance with electrical code, ideal for strata environments and long-term reliability.

EV Charging Without a Service Upgrade-- Burke Mountain, Coquitlam 🚘

We recently installed a load management system paired with the home’s electric range, along with a NEMA 14-50 outlet for EV charging.
When the range is turned on, the system automatically prioritizes power to the range and temporarily shuts off power to the EV outlet. Once the range is no longer in use, power is restored to the EV outlet. This allows safe EV charging without overloading the electrical system and without the need for a costly service upgrade.

Voltage was tested and verified at the outlet before completion, and the installation was completed cleanly and fully code-compliant.
