Hiking, camping or enjoying the backyard this long weekend? ☀️

𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲—so take a few extra steps to protect yourself and your loved ones before heading outdoors.

𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:

✅ Wear light‑coloured clothing so ticks are easier to spot
✅ Use insect repellent that contains DEET or icaridin
✅ Check yourself, children and pets for ticks after spending time outside
✅ Put outdoor clothing in the dryer on high heat before washing
