I've done some previous work on this gorgeous property and was back today to do some finishing touches to it, as the clients are hosting a wedding here Saturday!

I added my custom hanging planters full of Ivy Geraniums, Cosmos and Marigolds. The Marigolds have all been grown from seed in my greenhouse and are putting on quite a show. I like to add them to planters to deter deer from having a nibble.

The 4 tall planters you may remember from an earlier post, full of Bee Balm, Coneflower, Russian Sage and Ivy. Once the wedding is over, all of those plants will be added to the large garden bed pictured.

Today's office was this gorgeous spot on Whitestone Lake where I did 3 hours of weeding, then added 8 perennial native plants. In a few years this hillside will be full of beautiful blooms. 🌼

Of course my super adorable assistant, Fergus, helped me out. His job... stand guard and warn me of anything that may come my way... yup, the client came home, he completely failed at his task, lol 🐶

Often I get called in on a project like this, where the client is a bit overwhelmed with what to do.

I started with many hours of digging and weeding, then adding native Ontario plants, followed by mulching. Now my client has a beautiful space again.

In a few years this bed will fill in and give her gorgeous blooms from spring to fall.
