Let’s talk seedlings — give me your feedback!

🌱Did you find what you were looking for at the sales?

🌱What seedling(s) would like to buy that I didn’t have (or ran out of)?

My personal notes:

🍅 More cherry tomatoes, maybe more big tomatoes too (last year we had so many left over, this year they were gone in a blink!)

🌶️ More jalapeño, maybe more other hot peppers like shish*to and espelette

🌺 More nasturtium

🥬 More Swiss chard

🍒 More ground cherry

🌱 Curly parsley

RESILIENCE 💪

Seedlings are strong and resilient. Here are 2 examples:

1) I broke a tomato stem. I put the top half in water and it grew new roots. I’m going to pot it today. Meanwhile I kept the original tomato, which is now growing 2 suckers. Those 2 suckers will become new main stems. These tomatoes will lag behind others, but they'll still produce fruit. This one is the beautiful speckled Roman paste tomato. And now I have 2!

2) I cracked this zucchini stem over a week ago, but it's still doing fine, growing. To plant, I’ll bury the broken part of the stem with rest of the roots, and it’ll be fine 😎

Never despair! I used to, but I’ve learned it’s going to be ok.
