Excavating a driveway in the rain is not fun…
If we haven’t met, I’m Ace an Asphalt lead hand in Ottawa.
3 years ago I started my paving journey. Long days, early mornings, Ottawa winters. I was just an employee trying to figure out how to make more money without quitting the job I was good at.
So I started selling driveways and garage floors. Filming it. Posting it.
What started as just trying to hit $100K extra turned into something I didn’t expect — people actually wanted to watch a regular guy try to build something from nothing.
I’m not the boss. I’m not a business owner. I’m a lead hand who lays asphalt all week and builds on the weekends.
I document all of it. The side jobs. The grind. The money. The reality of trying to move out, stack cash, and build a life while working for someone else.
