Another audio narration sample, this time from my draft work on The August Gem, a mystery noir work of fiction. It is currently being edited by The Christopher-Offerman Creative. The work is about Alfred August, who wakes at a New Orleans wharf with a shattered memory, a missing son, and a ruthless kidnapper demanding a priceless ancient gem he can't even remember hiding. A psychological thriller of memory, myth and survival.

One of the activities that I thought I would have less an interest is audio narration. But, after recording, editing a few samples, I found this quite invigorating. I recorded my first sample called Living in the Moment.

Good afternoon! One of my very short stories I wrote on Reedsy is called The Platform Revelation. The story is about persevering in the face of adversity - in this case, losing a job and finding myself wandering around an empty transit platform being visited by a dragon and a wise woman.

I have created a shared link to the ePub (PDF) that was put together for me by the Reedsy portal (note, the link is safe and verified - and owned - by the Creative).

Time for a snack. Save some for the birds though.

My Noble Knights, Salvia, and Asiatic Lillies. It is nice to have vivid colours as summer really begins. It's warm today but these little creations are just cool.
