I didn’t need the seven drawer long dresser in my bedroom space so I decided to list my set. I’m refinishing a new set. That will have two bedside tables plus a tall boy for a much better use of space 🤗

This beautiful shade of white by is called Vellum 🤩

Vellum is the antique paper color of the Metamorphosis Palette: warm, softened, and quietly aged. It carries more parchment depth and refinement than a standard cream, making it especially useful for furniture that needs a sense of history.

Vellum is part of the Metamorphosis Palette, a curated collection inspired by natural history, collected interiors, and the quiet beauty of the world around us.

I believe Vellum is the perfect choice for this gorgeous French Provincial dresser, what do you think? 😍

It will be available for purchase and listed for sale in the next few days. Please DM if interested😌

Do you ever have an “are you kidding me!?” moment when it comes to the coverage of the paint you’re using?! 🤯
I’m thankful that I get to be in awe ALL THE TIME with — and here’s some visual proof as to why! Look at this coverage! You can barely even see the wood showing through it and this is just the first coat! 🤩
Loving this gorgeous colour too! Wow! 😍

Beautifully Refinished 4 Drawer Midcentury Modern Solid- Wood Dresser!

This is a solid-wood dresser with beautifully constructed solid-wood dovetailed drawers, solid-wood legs, and quality craftsmanship that you simply don’t see in newer pieces these days.

The clean, classic design makes it incredibly versatile. While perfect as a bedroom dresser, it would also be beautiful in a nursery, guest room, home office, entryway, or even as a stylish storage piece in a living space.

✨ Details:
• Solid-wood construction
• 4 spacious drawers
• Dovetailed drawer construction
• Solid-wood legs
• Beautifully refinished by hand
• Trim added to top drawer
• All new k***s and pulls
• Fresh, updated finish while retaining the character and quality of the original piece
• Smooth-functioning drawers
• Versatile design that works with a variety of decorating styles

I love taking well-made vintage and older furniture and giving it another chapter rather than seeing it end up in a landfill. Every piece I refinish is carefully prepared and finished with attention to detail.

And because I want you to be able to enjoy your furniture for years to come, every Designs By Karin piece comes with a little care package including touch-up paint, a mini paintbrush, felt pads and care instructions.

This would make a gorgeous addition to a bedroom, nursery or office and is one of those pieces that can easily move with you from room to room as your needs change.

Please DM for purchase details or for more information — local delivery may be available for a small additional fee. 🚗💨

Custom/Commission work also available. If you have a piece of your own you’d like to have refinished (or if you’d like me to source out an unfinished piece for you), I’d be happy to help! 🏡♥️

Final Reveal! ✨
The first image snows the custom dining room table I just finished for my client (AI was used to place it into an appropriately styled room)
The second image shows it in her home 🏡 ❤️
And the third image shows the “before”
Would love to hear what you think of the final product! 🥰❤️
The base was finished using Nocturne by (formerly Antique Black) and the top was sanded to bare wood before finishing with a blend of stains by for the final look ☺️
