This is an issue that has been brought to our attention.
As well, we have encountered three cases just recently due to a PORTABLE HOME HUMIDIFIER
Humidifiers attached to your furnace (whole home) do not appear to cause any problems.
I am attaching this article but if you have any further questions please contact us.

Portable humidifiers could affect home's heater

If you have a portable personal humidifier in your home, it could be affecting your heater.
“We’ve had a lot of calls of the same problem,” explained Tim Hatfield, Owner of Tim’s Heating & Cooling. “Of getting their bumping limit, which is the furnace getting too hot and shutting itself off.”
Hatfield says after looking into the issue, he found a common issue.
“It took us quite a while, but every one of these had one of those room humidifiers in it. The personal room humidifier,” Hatfield said. “What it is, is the minerals, the way they process humidity, the minerals in the water are what is actually doing it.”
Those minerals can clog up the air filter, which can make the heater work less efficiently.
“It’s real fine. Like baby powder dust, or sheetrock dust. It’s a real fine dust,” Hatfield explained.
“Anymore, most of these air filters you buy, people buy higher efficiency air filters, well they filter better. Well, the pores on that filter are so small, that the dust is plugging it up. That’s what is causing it.”
Hatfield suggests using a cheaper air filter during months the humidifier is needed more or putting distilled water into the humidifier.
He also says whole-home humidifiers do not seem to have the same issues.
