Finished up a yard grading and drainage project out in Lac la Hache.
Got the drainage around the foundation running properly, graded out a deck pad, hauled in drain rock for the weeping tile, cut a parking pad, and carved stairs into the slope for the homeowner to frame out. He is handling the landscaping himself and was out there helping the whole time. Great guy to work with.

Spring's here and the ground is drying out — dig season is right around the corner.

If you've got any excavation planned this year — driveway, shop pad, fence line, drainage — give BC One Call a ring before work starts. 1-800-474-6886. They'll mark your underground utilities for free. It's required by law in BC and they need 3 business days lead time.
Always worth doing early while you're still in the planning stage.
