When I’m interviewing candidates and ask what appeals most about this job, most people say first, “the chance to work outside”.

After 20 years of sweat, sunburns, smoke and soaking rain, I take that chance for granted. Yesterday I saw this cool cloud after being forced to wait 20 minutes in the glorious sunshine before my trailer got loaded and I thought, “it’s great to work outside!”
