I wonder how many people think about how much work goes into seemingly simple parts of a house? Custom stair railings are some of the most labor intensive and tedious items. Pre-made fittings are available to turn corners and bends, but you have to join them just right and blend in the seams. This takes time and experience! Not to mention, some specialty tools.
