Redbridge in Squamish represents one of Darwin’s largest projects to date, marking a significant milestone in the scale and complexity of our work across the Sea-to-Sky region.

Behind a project of this calibre is a constant flow of coordination, decision-making and collaboration across every stage of delivery. From early planning through to on-site ex*****on, it has been shaped by the teams working together to bring the vision forward in Squamish.

Another memorable day on the course in support of charities close to Darwin. ⛳️

Earlier this month, Darwin hosted our 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, bringing together partners, industry peers and community members in support of initiatives that make a lasting impact. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will support Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon Chapter and the Team Finn Foundation, helping continue important work for children and families in our communities.

To date, the tournament has helped raise more than $674,000. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to make this event so meaningful year after year.

The final details are coming together at Rove in North Vancouver.

Work continues across the site as off-site civil improvements progress steadily. Exterior work remains the primary focus, including breezeway paver installation and architectural elements such as the tinted balcony guardrails.

Every project is shaped by the people behind it, and sometimes, one very good boy. Superintendent Keegan's pup, Charlie, is a familiar face that the team loves to see at Rove.

PAST PROJECT FEATURE: Coal Harbour Community Centre

Located at 1447 Barclay Street in Vancouver, the Coal Harbour Community Centre is a 150,000 square foot civic space built by Darwin Construction for the City of Vancouver. Completed in 1996, this concrete low rise facility has long served as a place for recreation, gathering and connection in the heart of downtown. Designed by Henriquez and Partners, the community centre was thoughtfully created to support a wide range of programs, activities and services for residents and visitors alike.

From everyday recreation to moments when Vancouver welcomes visitors from around the world, spaces like Coal Harbour Community Centre reflect the value of building lasting places that support inclusion and community for generations to come.

Official occupancy has now been achieved across all buildings at Redbridge, with homeowners beginning to move into Building 1 and the townhomes receiving occupancy at the end of May. Across the site, landscaping is entering its final planting phase while commercial retail units continue to progress.

From the rooftop patio with 360 degree views to the surrounding natural landscape, Redbridge is beginning to reflect the unique character of Squamish and the Sea-to-Sky region.

Interior finishing work is pushing ahead throughout Rove, with suite touch-ups, appliance installation and final details bringing each home into its final stages. It’s exciting to see completed spaces reflect the vision and character behind the project.

Moments like this reflect what it means to build for tomorrow and for community.

We are excited to see The Shipyards in North Vancouver become home to the Uber Eats Canada Soccer House during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, bringing fans together in one of the region’s most active waterfront communities.

As a space designed to foster connection, culture and shared experiences, it is rewarding to see The Shipyards continue to evolve as a gathering place on the world stage. From local events to global celebrations, this is what it means to build with purpose.

Redbridge continues to move into its final stages.

Occupancy was achieved for Building 1, the final condo building on site, on April 15, with residents expected to begin moving in this week. The project has also reached substantial completion as a whole, with the final townhouse occupancy walkthrough scheduled for mid-May.

As the team works through final details and deficiencies, landscaping and planting continue to bring the site together, adding the finishing touches across the community.

We look forward to sharing these final stages as Redbridge nears completion.
