Help?!?

🍅 My most excellent farm sister picked me up four cases of beautiful Romas to can so I can save my delicious ones for other things.

🍎 Then asked me to go pick apples at 8pm last night. Of course I went. Why I don’t know haha.

🌿 The herbs just had to be harvested again or they will flower.

🫘 And the beans 🫣 SO. MANY. BEANS. I’m ignoring them for two days along with the cukes. There’s too many other things that need doing. So if they could just slow the hell down that would be great mmmkay?

My guy goes to work out of town tonight so the damn potatoes, onions, carrots and beets can just hold their damn horses too.

It’s been a crazy four days of preserving.

89 jars at my retailers. 138 in house waiting to go out the door.

227 jars total! That’s roughly 56/57 a day! That’s a record for me.

Tomorrow hitting Tbay and Tuesday picking berries with my favourite lady.

Then it’s onto more pickles, beets and drying herbs and kale.

And I found a couple of the beautiful Grass of Parnassus on the acreage! It’s marked for seed saving for the new pond area going in this fall. ❤️

Just got back from a visit to my partner farm Hurkett Hill Farm.

Her farm-stand is stocked with amazing goodies and the goats are extra friendly today.

👩‍🌾 My partner farm and ride or die farm girl friend has the prettiest farm-stand full of delicious and beautiful things.

🍯 🐝 Her honey is the best I’ve ever tasted too.

🥚 🐔 Her eggs are yummy and pretty and her 🐐 🐐 are waiting on you for snacks.
