What is aeration and why do you do it?
Here is a quick basic video.

When you pair this with DETHATCHING your lawn, it makes for a great start for stron and healthy grass growth!

This too should be done once a year!

You can either leave the plugs on the grass or pick them up and throw them out. I prefer picking them up so it doesn’t create a little more thatch and it looks cleaner!

Here is a quick guide about THATCH.

Thatch is a layer of organic material between the grass blades, and the soil!
Too much thatch will block grass from getting proper nutrients, it also blocks water from getting into the soil.

Dethatching should be done once a year, and in the spring time.

For optimal results, follow it with, aeration of your lawn, overseed then fertilizing!

It won’t look pretty at first, however in a couple weeks with proper watering, it will look great!
