We just installed these beautiful ebony Valley stone retaining walls with ebony caps/coping for our client. The height of the walls match the concrete patio and make for a great seat to garden from. The transition from the grey concrete to ebony blocks makes the gardens pop!

We are so excited to announce we just bought our first home and new Hoedown Excavating office! The 5 acre property comes with a 4 bay car garage and car lift, full gym and green house garden area. We are digging our new office and can’t wait to get it set up over the next 2 weeks.

Driveway resurfacing.
We scraped and regraded the driveway flat and used the road base material to create a parking area. We then packed proper driveway chip throughout the driveway and walkway to the front entry.

Ben and Amos knocked this NewStone paver install out of the park! A mini retaining wall was added to keep the soils from spilling onto the patio and catch basin drains were added to the rain leaders to pick up any surface water as well.

We just finished the upgrading of the drainage system around the VIHA nurse’s unit in Bamfield by pouring the concrete around the building. We trucked in the material and mixed and broom finished the concrete pour. We also installed several trench drains to control the surface water from the driveway and walkways.

After a hard days work, we were treated to this view off our hotels deck. Big shoutout to Hacas Inn in Bamfield as well as the whole community for hosting us for a month, we had a fantastic stay!
