It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our employee and friend, Paul Cox.

Paul, also known as “Big Bear,” was family to some of our team both at work and beyond, and he was a valued part of the Innes North family. His presence on site, his hard work, and the energy he brought to those around him will be deeply missed.

The days since Paul’s passing have been difficult for the guys who had the opportunity to work alongside him. His absence has been felt on site, and it is hard not seeing him there each day.

One of Paul’s coworkers shared these words about him:

“Paul Cox aka Big Bear was the epitome of a team player. Every day he showed up bright and early with a contagious energy that spread throughout the hospital site. His relentless work ethic and drive, and his ability to lift others up, will surely be missed by everyone.”

We are grateful for the time we had with Paul and for the memories he leaves behind with his coworkers, friends, and family.

Our deepest condolences go out to Paul’s family and friends during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed by everyone at Innes North.

We wanted to take a moment to share a look at one of the yards where we work. This picture is from this past fall.

This is where we offload material from the railway, organize and store it, and then, as it’s needed, use our equipment to deliver it to the hospital site.

As we watch the hospital continue to take shape, we’re reminded of how incredible it is to play a part in making this project happen. Being able to contribute to something that will have such a lasting impact on our community means a lot to us.

As an Indigenous-owned business in our community, we’re proud to be part of this project and to contribute in our own way to a hospital that will serve our community for years to come.

Most of all, we’re proud of our team, who work hard day in and day out to keep everything moving.

A great way to wrap up another successful work week!

Today we enjoyed a staff luncheon BBQ and some well-deserved time together. We truly appreciate all of our team members, both those working hard in the field and those keeping things running behind the scenes in the office.

Our success is made possible by the dedication, hard work, and teamwork of our entire crew.

Thank you for everything you do!

Keeping our team cool, one slushie at a time🥤

We recently added a slushie machine to help keep our team cool while they continue making great progress on the new hospital project.

Just a small way to say thank you to the team for all their hard work!
